description<\/strong><\/td>\nThe data products included in this data release are science data\u00a0acquired by Solar Orbiter\/Metis coronagraph. Metis scientific data products consist of calibrated data images (Level 2)\u00a0acquired by Metis coronagraph in an annular field-of-view from 1.6 to 2.9 degrees (corresponding to 1.7 to 3.0 solar\u00a0radii @ 0.28 UA) in two wavelength bands: Visible Light polarized brightness at 580-640 nm and narrowband UV HI\u00a0Ly-alpha at 121.6 nm. Only Level 2 (calibrated) data are distributed and this release is produced with the current\u00a0calibration understanding. In particular, Level 2 data contain: UV images, VL polarized brightness (pB) images,\u00a0total brightness (tB) images, polarization angle, and Stokes vector images.<\/p>\n

\nThe Metis experiment is an international collaboration led by the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF)\u00a0and supported by the Italian Space Agency (ASI), involving several Universities in Italy and research institutes in\u00a0the world.<\/p>\n
